According to reports in IT World, the free and paid-for cloud storage provider MegaCloud has gone quiet. The service has been down for several days now, and the main website pages (including features, pricing and contact information) are also offline.
Whenever a cloud storage provider becomes unavailable (even if its only for a short time) it makes business owners wary of using off-site storage for important company information. That’s why it is important for organisations to choose a cloud provider they feel confident will be around for a long time. Our own cloud storage and syncing service is backed by the power of Box, which provides similar services to major organisations such as BBC, Netflix, Toyota and Proctor and Gamble.
