Today’s instalment of meet the team is David Jegede-Brimson – let’s find out more about him, his role, background, and interests!
For the people who haven’t yet met you David, what is your role here at SMS?
I’m an Inside Sales Opportunity Exec.
What did you previously do before joining SMS?
I graduated with an economics degree, but fell into sales as my first job. I’ve spent time in various sales roles in the food industry, I’ve also spent time working as a chef, but most recently I worked for a SaaS company in a sales role.
When did the SMS journey start for you?
I am new to the SMS team, I started in June this year.
What do you enjoy about the work you do?
I genuinely appreciate the opportunities I get to engage in conversations with individuals from different backgrounds and learn about their varied enterprises and operational processes. It brings me great joy to explore the intricacies of different businesses and understand how they function. This interaction allows me to gain valuable insights into various industries, and broaden my understanding.
Why should a potential customer choose SMS?
We’re a small team that cares deeply about creating strong relationships with our clients and delivering them exceptional service.
Which of the many solutions that we offer is most beneficial to your working life?
The product that I rely on excessively is the Teams phone. It serves as my primary communication tool, consuming a substantial portion of my daily activities. Throughout the day, I find myself utilising it extensively for numerous purposes.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working? Any hobbies?
Cooking and eating, particularly BBQing. I take great pleasure in preparing delicious food for my loved ones and friends.
What are the three items you would take with you to a deserted island?
I would benefit from having a Starlink internet system. This would enable me to arrange for a pick-up and communicate with others more efficiently. Additionally, I can envision creating an enjoyable atmosphere by incorporating a barbecue setup along with a really good sound system. These additions will enhance my overall experience during the period before being rescued.
